In his life as an artist, Roger has always desired to keep his hand in the media that he has enjoyed throughout his art education career., Painting, drawing, and wheel-thrown ceramics have long been favorite media, but photography, graphic design, mixed media collage, printmaking, and stained glass window projects have been enjoyed over the years. Lately, as a member of the Goonie Valley History and Preservation Club, he has collected and restored photographs representative of the history of Browntown, VA in order to create an history calendar for the community. Though he has done many commissioned pieces in his career, his artwork is rarely for sale, but mostly given as gifts, donations for fundraising events, and used to barter with many of his favorite artists.
